Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) has announced the 21 projects selected for its 2026–2027 Digital Art Commissions Program, an initiative designed to support experimental digital art practices across South Florida, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the African Diaspora.
Launched in April 2025, the open call received more than 750 applications from 50 countries. Following a review process conducted by museum staff and an external panel of arts professionals, a group of artists was chosen for projects that explore the creative possibilities of digital technologies.
Among the selected artists are Colombian artist Juan Covelli, whose project focuses on the ecosystems of the páramo; Dominican artist Angy de la Rosa, who will develop a digital archive dedicated to Afro-Caribbean cultural heritage; and Mexican artist Cristóbal Ascencio Ramos, whose proposal documents native corn varieties through 3D models and immersive video. The cohort also includes artists such as Chelsea Odufu, Andrew Roberts, Dominick Rabrun, Jason Fitzroy Jeffers, José Sánchez, and Vitória Cribb, among others.
Through its first public open call, PAMM aims to expand support for artists working with digital media while encouraging new approaches to artistic access, circulation, and research across the Americas.
