Appointment of Humberto Valdivieso as the new director of Sala Mendoza, elected member of the Board of Directors of AICA International, and president of AICA Venezuela

Over the past six months, our collaborator Humberto Valdivieso, a prominent curator and professor at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, was appointed director of Sala Mendoza, an exhibition space and documentary center for modern and contemporary art that has been operating for over 60 years. Additionally, at the AICA International general assembly, he was elected as one of four Latin American members to serve on its board of directors. He was also recently elected president of AICA Venezuela. The new board of the Venezuela chapter includes Lorena González Inneco, as secretary general and Anny Bello as treasurer.
