Description

Founded in 1900, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), is among the 10 largest museums in the United States. Located in the heart of the Houston Museum District, the MFAH comprises two gallery buildings, a sculpture garden, cinema, two art schools, and two libraries, with two museum-houses in the vicinity, one for North American decorative arts and another for the European ones. The MFAH encyclopedic collection is made up of more than 65,000 works and ranges from the art of antiquity to the present.
