Description

The Fortuny Museum (Venice) is located in the palace of the Pesaro family. Mariano Fortuny and Madrazo, son of the painter Mariano Fortuny, transformed it to create its own studio of photography, scenery, painting and design. The Fortuny Museum was donated to the City of Venice by Henriette, widow of Mariano Fortuny, in 1956. The collection of the museum is made up of works and materials representing the various styles in which the artist worked.
