The Museum of Bogota corresponds to the typology of City Museum and its field of action transcends the content of the two venues of the same. The Museum considers the same territory of the city as its area, which includes hills, savannah and river, built city, cultural property, natural heritage and intangible heritage.

The Museum preserves the history of the city, studies its evolution and uses history to think about the city of the future.
