Description

The Maillol Museum is the culmination of the whole life of Dina Vierny model of the sculptor Aristide Maillol of fifteen years. Dina Vierny also posed for many painters friends of Maillol, such as Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard and Raoul Dufy. In 1964, Dina Vierny donated monumental sculptures to Maillol. André Malraux, Minister of Culture, outdoor facilities in the gardens of the Tuileries. The same year, he created his  foundation whose objective is to make known the work of Aristide Maillol.
