Description

Designed by the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Biomuseo is his first work in Latin America and in the tropics. The building was designed to tell the story of how the Isthmus of Panama emerged from the sea, uniting two continents, separating a large ocean in two and changing the biodiversity of the planet forever.

The 4000-square-meter museum contains eight permanent exhibition galleries designed by Bruce Mau Design.
