The building is from the beginning of the last century and was acquired by the then Department of Post and Telegraph - DCT in 1921 to be the headquarters of the post office in Pernambuco. Completely restored, the building has five floors and has six exhibition halls, auditorium, restaurant (bistro), living room with historical pieces and a post office. The composition of the building is eclectic along with an architectural language influenced by French classicism.
