The José Martí National Library of Cuba is the main library of Cuba, it is located in the capital city of Havana and was established on October 18, 1901, it is part of the national system of more than 400 distributed libraries all over Cuba. It started as an archive with a personal collection, today it stores the collections and is the country's legal deposit. It has a digital library and has rooms, it houses the country's documentary, bibliographic, artistic and sound heritage treasures, as well as the most representative of universal culture.
