Portas Vilaseca Galeria was founded in 2010 by Jaime Portas Vilaseca with the mission of supporting and promoting young artists within the contemporary art scene. Initially located inside a traditional framing shop, the gallery quickly became a meeting point for experimental practices and innovative discussions led by independent artists and curators. In 2018, it relocated to a three-story house in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.
