Pinakotheke Cultural

Pinakotheke Cultural started its activities in 1979 as an organization specializing in planning, and production of exhibitions and books focused exclusively in Brazilian Art History. Since then it has presented to the public countless exhibitions and specific publications. In 1987, Multiarte opened in Fortaleza as the Northeastern division of Pinakotheke Cultural, dedicating over 25 years of existence to presenting exhibitions and fostering knowledge about Brazilian 19th and 20th century art.
