With the idea of consolidating the gallery's link with the Madrid art scene and expanding the visibility of Latin American art in Europe, La Cometa opened its doors in Madrid in 2019 with an exhibition of 5 contemporary Colombian artists. Initially, the space was intended to host projects by Latin American artists, both established and emerging, and even focusing the gallery on the realization of installation projects.
