Anita Schwartz Galeria de Arte

After directing three important galleries in Rio de Janeiro, in 1998, Anita Schwartz inaugurated the gallery bearing her name.

In 2008, the gallery’s headquarters were transferred to its new space of approximately 700 m², distributed in three stories. On the ground floor the main exhibition room measuring 140m² and 6,8 meters in height was designed to house large scale installations. On the second floor another exhibition room of 96 m² leads to a wide terrace, where a container was placed, destined to host video-installations with capacity for 20 spectators.
