Galería Acacia was founded in 1981 in Havana, Cuba. For more than thirty years, its history has been part of the history of Cuban Art. Since its inception, it has promoted new forms of dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, between the expressions of the Cuban Avant-garde and the emerging practices of the Island. Its inclusive identity establishes links with different generations, times and ways of doing things. The commitment to experiencing new sensibilities updates the desire to promote an art that transcends its time and context.
