Recognized curators from any nationality are invited to submit one or more proposals for separate exhibitions with individual artists currently working in the Middle East, North Africa or South Asia. Each successful proposal will receive up to $200,000 to include production costs, transport and travel for both curator and artist. Included in the budget will be a fee of $15,000 for the curator. The final exhibitions will be shown at Art Dubai in March 2009. Applications may only be submitted by curators with the joint signature of the artist. Curators must submit a biography and curriculum of past exhibitions plus three written articles. In addition, each curator is asked to write a short proposal for the work of the artist in the submission, and the reasons why they wish to work with the nominated artist. Nominees must be practicing artists currently living and working in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. There is no age restriction. Application forms must be received by 5pm, Sunday 15h June 2008. A selection committee will meet and the successful applicants will be notified in mid-July.
