Pavillon Le Corbusier, iconic for its color panels and floating roofs, reopened after a prolonged renovation. This building was Le Corbusier's last project before his death in 1965, and was completed in 1967. It was commissioned by Heidi Weber, an interior designer, in the 1960s. She intended it to be her home and also to hold her collection of Le Corbusier's works. An emblem of the architect's versatility, the building hosts temporary exhibits and workshops about his life and oeuvre. The Center, entirely prefabricated, is renowned for its steel and glass modules, as well as an interesting spatial independence that allows for the free adaptation of its spaces. Located on the shores of Lake Zurich, the Pavillon Le Corbusier will remain open until November. It can be visited Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 6 pm, and on Thursdays until 8 pm.
