XXXV Bancaja Painting, Sculpture and Digital Art Award

Artists of every nationality or place of residence can participate and compete in the disciplines of painting, sculpture or digital art. Winning artists from earlier editions of this event can participate again in the disciplines they haven¿t previously been awarded for. The works submitted must comply with the following specifications: Painting: no smaller than 65 cm or larger than 200 cm along any of its sides. The piece must be presented without frame and on its stretcher. Sculpture: dimensions cannot exceed 200 x 120 by 120 cm, nor can they weight over 200 kg. They must also be created with the final material they were intended for. For this modality, it is necessary to attach a photograph indicating how the work must be installed. Digital art: dimensions cannot be less than 65 cm or more than 200 cm on either of its sides. Each work must be submitted with a non-virtual self-supporting stand. Magnetic storage devices (video) and digital storage devices (cd-rom, web, etc) won¿t be accepted. The awards are: 12,000 Euros for either the first place in painting or sculpture, and an honourable mention of 6,000 Euros for second place. For digital art, there will be a first price of 6,000 Euros and a second place honourable mention of 3,000 Euros. The application form and the artist¿s resume must be submitted along with the work between April 1 and April 7, to: Polígono Industrial Barrio del Cristo, Carrer del Mig, Nave F (acceso por Avda.
