34th Spanish-American Painting Prize

The Diego de Lozada Association is calling for submissions to the 34th Spanish-American Painting Prize.

The call is open to Spanish and Latin American citizens, regardless of age, submitting one to three original works. Theme and technique are open; artists must assume the responsibility of respecting people, beliefs, and institutions.

Works submitted must be a maximum of 130 cm. and a minimum of 50 cm. in any of its sides, framed with a small band and no glass cover. Works sent from the Americas can be submitted as a roll. Each work must include title, technique, author name, address, and telephone number.

Submissions sent from Spain will be received December 1 – 4, 2012, at Palacio Lozada, between 12 noon and 2 pm, and between 5 and 8 pm. 49326 Rionegro del Puente, Zamora, Spain. Submissions sent from the Americas will be received November 15 – 30.

The prize includes a monetary award of €2,100 euros for First Prize and €1,000 euros for Second Prize.
