20th Anniversary of The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse

The prestigious Margulies Collection is celebrating two decades of uninterrupted work since its opening in 1999. Its collection and exhibitions spawn community and educational programs, which in turn generate seminars, guided tours, internships, and publications.
On October 29th, as part of the celebrations, the Warehouse will inaugurate a group show that will include works by Magdalena Abakanowicz, John Chamberlain, Willem de Kooning, Leandro Erlich, Michael Heizer, Thomas Hirschhorn, Pieter Hugo, Anselm Kiefer, Sol LeWitt, Danny Lyon, Chema Madoz, Ibrahim Mahama, Mark Manders, Isamu Noguchi, Tony Oursler, Maurizio Pellegrin, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Aleksander Rodchenko, Anri Sala, George Segal, Richard Serra, and Cindy Sherman, among others.
The foundation will also publish a two-volume book comprising the works of those artists who helped to give the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse its distinctive character during these 20 years, as well as works that belong to the Margulies' private collection.
All proceeds from the sale of the book, admissions tickets, guided tours, and charity events will be donated to Lotus Village, a shelter for homeless women and children in Miami.
ArtNexus congratulates The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse for its 20th birthday and for its generosity to the community.
