XIX ARCO/BEEP Award for Electronic Art

The ARCO/BEEP Electronic Art Award was granted by.NewArt { foundation;}, based in Barcelona (Spain), celebrates its 19th edition at the ARCO Madrid 2024 International Contemporary Art Fair with the sponsorship of Arts Connection Foundation, thanks to which the prize money has been increased to 30,000 euros.
The award, which seeks to promote the production and exhibition of art linked to new technologies or electronic art, will reward one of the works exhibited by the galleries participating in the fair from March 6 to 10, 2024. In addition, the work must have a significant component involving new digital technologies or electronic media to be eligible. The winning artist will receive an acquisition prize of 30,000 euros, and their work will be incorporated into the.NewArt { collection;}; it will also be exhibited at the next edition of the Miami New Media Festival, held in October at the Arts Connection Foundation's headquarters.
The award has a prestigious jury formed by artist Marie-France Veyrat; artist and Arts Connection director Andreina Fuentes Angarita; journalist Roberta Bosco; art critic Fernando Castro Flórez and the director of the NewArtFoundation, Vicente Matallana.
NewArt { foundation;}. It aims to help the artistic community develop new technological, scientific, conceptual, and social practices. Arts Connection. is a non-profit cultural organization based in Miami-Dade that promotes events that provide the community with knowledge, awareness, and cultural sensitivity.
