11th Endesa Fine Arts Grants

The Endesa Foundation and the Teruel Provincial Council announce the 11th Edition of the Endesa Fine Arts Grants, aimed at encouraging artistic creativity in several fields. The Endesa Grants will reward the efforts of five visual artists selected by a qualified jury. Participants applying for these grants must be Spanish or residents of Spain, with no age limit. Each applicant must submit the following: the application form properly completed; a brief Curriculum Vitae indicating academic studies and other activities (exhibitions, awards, other grants, etc), as well as personal information and contacting address, and at least eight printed photographs (or digital images) of works by the applicant that accurately reflect the work¿s characteristics. Information on each work must also be included and must contain technique used, dimensions, and the date of the work. Portfolios submitted must be in Din A4 size and cannot contain original artworks (or these will be returned to the sender by means of a COD). The organizers will not assume any responsibility for the condition of any returned materials. The Endesa Foundation has destined a purse of 24,000 Euros for each of the grants, subject to any corresponding taxes, according to legislation in existence at the moment the grant was awarded. Fray Anselmo Polanco, 3 44001-Teruel Applications received during the week after the closing of the call will be accepted if their postmarks correspond to May 30, 2009, or to any other previous dates. Expenses related with sending the works or with returning dossiers will be paid by the applicant (addresses to the General Delivery postal category will not be accepted).
