The Tenth Pamplona International Film Festival taking place from October 5th to 10th invites filmmakers to participate with short films created between 2008 and 2009 and that deal with social issues of international scope. Applicants may participate in the following categories: Alternatif Section for 35-mm short film fictions produced in Spain and dealing with any subject matter; the Visual Value Section, aimed at international recorded or filmed documentaries with a DVD PAL viewing format, and the Educatif Section for short- and full-length animation, fiction, or documentary films ¿ recorded or filmed ¿ with a DVD PAL viewing format, and with content that presents elements useful for developing values in children and adolescents. Short films in the DVD PAL viewing format must be sent with the completed application form (found at www.festivalcinepamplona.com), the director¿s résumé, a short synopsis, film credits, one photograph of the director, two photographs of the work, copy of ID documentation of the director and producer (DNI if from Spain), identification information of the production house (CIF/NIF if from Spain), a list of the dialogues in Spanish or English, and any other information that may be relevant. Applications must be submitted prior to April 30 for short films created in 2008, and before June 30 for short films created in 2009.
