The article by Carlos Jimenez analyzed the work of Spanish artist Santiago Sierra, who has lived in Mexico. Jimenez starts with the Fordist concept that drove forward the economy and its later crisis in order to establish the indicatives that originate an aspect of Sierra¿s work, through an explication of several of his projects, such as the Arrojafuegos. Carlos Jimenez unveils in this way the political, social and contextual motivations that support Santiago Sierra¿s work.

Daros¿Latinamerica, one of the most important collections of contemporary Latin American art, presented Cantos / Cuentos Colombianos, a selection of contemporary Colombian art in the collection, with works by José Alejandro Restrepo, Óscar Muñoz, Nadin Ospina, Doris Salcedo, Oswaldo Macía, Juan Manuel Echeverría, Fernando Arias, Rosemberg Sandoval, María Fernanda Cardoso.
