Journey to Brazil and Argentina with Artquest

A group of curators and academics from important museums and institutions from the United States and the Tate Modern in London, travel to Brazil and Argentina. The fundamental motive that agglutinated this delegation was to interact with artists, institutions and collectors. TO do this they organized visits to the workshops of artists such as Ernesto Neto and Beatriz Milhazes, to the collections of Juan and Patricia Vergez, Marion Helft and Bernando Paz, as well as visits to galleries and museums. As part of the program the visitors offered conferences, among them Alma Ruiz, curator of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, imparted a dedication to the international growth of the presence of Brazilian art. The event was organized by Carlos Dell¿Acqua, president of Artquest International. Artquest is an organization dedicated to the promotion of trips with cultural objectives allowing travelers to meet with artists, collectors, institutions, dancers and musicians in destinations that they visit.
