A Window in Berlin

The City of Berlin hosts the exhibition A Window of Berlin. The event includes the project Body and Soul, with the participation of artists Andrés Montes (Mexico), Laura Torrado (Spain), Helena Almeida (Portugal), Beth Moysés and Anaisa Franco (Brazil) and J.R Amondarain (Donostia). A Window in Berlin is a project sponsored by the Museo Contemporáneo in Lima with the objective of opening a new space and a fresh perspective for contemporary art in Berlin. Since its conception, this proposal has been associated with the Ibero-American world through video art, one of the more dynamic and current forms of expression. The exhibition is under a curatorial team formed by international researchers and art critics who will select a contemporary piece from works by several Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American artists. Each curator will design a different three-month long program within the project A Window in Berlin. Within the space dedicated to Body & Soul, a project curated by Chema de Francisco, a program has been proposed that will focus on one artist each week, thus generating a series of successive exhibitions that neglect the simultaneity intrinsic to group exhibitions.
