Umberto Giangrandi, 18th International Print Biennial of Sarcelles

On November 25, Italian Born Colombian artist Umberto Giangrandi was awarded the First Prize of the 18th International Print Biennial of Sarcelles in Paris, France. He was granted the recognition because of the great aesthetic and technical value of the two pieces he entered: Espacios Vecinos (Neighboring Spaces, 1968) and Serie América Latina (Latin American Series, 1971), two meaningful works in the prolific artistic career of Giangrandi, an artist whose work transcends borders and showcases the high level of artistic creation that Colombia has to offer.
