The Museo de Arte da Cataluña presents until September 11 of 2011, Torres-García at His Crossroads, an exhibition that gathers more than 80 works-most of these drawings and many never-before-shown-from the collection of Alejandra, Aurelio, and Claudio Torres. Also including paintings and wood constructions, the exhibition surveys the artistic trajectory of Joaquín Torres-García during the first half of the 20th Century. Curated by Tomàs Llorens, the exhibition aims at offering visitors an intimate look into the artist's creative process and showing the crossroads he encountered throughout his career: the classic inflection of modernism and his years in Paris and New York.
