This organization is dedicated to search for solutions to preserve color photographs, videos, films and digital media art, as well as assure their survival in the future so that other generations are able to study and enjoy them. In order to do so, the Foundation equally supports the interests of all the groups, artists, collectors, galleries, museums, institutions and all kinds of media. Claudio Cesar, founder of the organization, stated that: ¿The short life of color photographs and digital art is a problem that must be foreseen in order to avoid tragic losses from one of the most important artistic movements of our time.¿ Besides preservation and conservation, The Cesar Foundation for Visual Arts is committed to authentication while working in conjunction with respected scientists from the Basel University.
