The second version of the Fundación Actual MAVI Scholarship for mid-career artists
The Fundación Actual MAVI Scholarship is an initiative that supports production for mid-career artists and is awarded by Fundación Actual in conjunction with the Museo de Artes Visuales (MAVI).
The Fundación Actual MAVI 2020 Scholarship application is free and will be open from July 6 to September 14, 2020, for artists from 40 to 60 years old who have exhibited individually or collectively in the last five years. Applications will be online through www.becaactualmavi.cl
As in its previous version, the winner of the Fundación Actual MAVI 2020 Scholarship will receive a financial contribution of 10,000,000 Chilean pesos (approximately USD 12,100) that will be distributed in 18 monthly installments and will have the possibility of presenting a solo exhibition at Galleries 1 and 2 at the MAVI in July and August 2022.
