The Chamber of Commerce in Bogota and the Artecámara Program invite visual artists, art groups, and independent spaces from Colombia to participate in the call to become part of the 11th edition of ARTBO 2015 Artecámara Section that will take place from October 1 through October 4, 2015. Candidates must be under the age of 40. Selection Process: Curator Mariangela Mendez-Prencke will be responsible for selecting between 15 and 20 artists and/or art groups, and between 1 and 3 independent spaces that are either self-managed or autonomous. Eligibility: •Colombian artists under the age of 40 and not represented by a commercial gallery. •Foreign artists who have been residents in Colombia for the last three (3) years, under the age of 40 and not represented by a commercial gallery. •Colombian under the age of 40, who live abroad and are not represented by a commercial gallery. •Art groups whose members are under the age of 40 and that are not represented by a commercial gallery. •Self-managed or autonomous independent spaces that organize activities in Colombia and that did not participate in the ARTBO 2014 Artecámara Section.
