The Bass Museum has announced recently a delay in the remodeling construction plans of the Bass Museum of Art, which had planned to launch its renovated facility in December 2016 during Art Basel in Miami Beach. It is now postponed to spring 2017. "The process of renovating historic landmarks differs greatly from that of modern structures, and we have needed to extend our construction deadline to accommodate these intricacies," explains executive director and chief curator Silvia Karman Cubiñá. The $12 million expansion of its 1930s building (historic building) will add four new galleries, almost 10,000 square feet. For more information visit:
