Call for Entries for #Sala10 at MUAC: Open to Artists Worldwide
La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), through the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC), invites national and international artists to participate in the open call for its #Sala10 program, a virtual exhibition platform that will showcase video works.
#Sala10 expands MUAC’s offerings by providing a digital space that complements the museum’s physical galleries. This edition aims to explore the transformations of video art, encouraging reflection on the new expressive possibilities within the context of digital platforms.
Deadlines and Support
Proposals will be accepted until January 5, 2025. Selected artists will receive financial support of $10,000 MXN, and their works will be featured on the MUAC website for a period of three months during 2025-2026.
Eligibility and Criteria
Artists over the age of 18, both individual and collective, are eligible to participate. Three video works will be selected based on their critical and creative engagement with the medium and its digital circulation. Full details and application documentation are available on the MUAC website.
