¿For me, what really matters is that the image may move you¿¿
Sandra Marroig´s work stirs us. There is sensuality, fantasy and aesthetic harmony in it. Her images play with light, with movement, with the brutal approach to the object¿ they are subtle, suggestive, they disclose what we don¿t usually see, or what we look at without seeing. It is true that all of them are based on something that does exist, but it is also true that that existence is not less abstract. In part, it captures our attention because it does not make an attempt to convince us of anything: ¿ ¿your answer is likely to be better than mine.¿
In her work there is a non exhibitionist account that seeks to make us find what is hidden and leaves an open end for each one of us of to see, to interpret and to be moved.
