Salta Art offers a residency to South American artists
The Ebenböckhaus Artist-in-Residence program based in Munich and Salta art are offering a place to a visual artist from South America for a residency from July 6 to September 27, 2023.
The selected artist will live and work at the Ebenböckhaus artist residency. During his or her stay, he or she will participate in the local art scene and will also be asked to give a public lecture, performance, workshop or exhibition, activity of choice. The residency takes place within the framework of the international platform Various Others, a non-profit association that aims to promote the visibility of contemporary art in Munich.
The selection will be made by a committee composed of the board of Salta art: Maurin Dietrich (director of Kunstverein München), Kiki Mazzucchelli (Brazilian curator, artistic director of the Luisa Strina gallery in São Paulo) and José Roca (Colombian curator, artistic director of rīvus, 23rd Biennale of Sydney) in conjunction with a representative of the Department of Culture of the city of Munich and, if necessary, with the participation of external experts.
