The call is now open for the Salón de Arte BBVA Nuevos Nombres Banco de la República. The Salon will be curated by Carlos Betancourt-Salazar and will travel to six cities across the country, to Bogotá, Cartagena, Cali, Pereira, Medellín, and Bucaramanga. On this occasion, the joint and willful effort by the BBVA and Banco de la República has led to the presentation of their new project entitled Salón de Arte BBVA Nuevos Nombres Banco de la República. This is an initiative that brings together the two most important young art projects in Colombia, which has separately launched the careers of artists such as María Fernanda Cardozo, Doris Salcedo, Delcy Morelos, Carlos Salas¿showcased in the Nuevos Nombres exhibition¿and of Sahir García, Óscar Danilo Vargas, Sandra Navia, and Boris Pérez, among other prominent artists in Salón de Arte BBVA¿s history. The call is open to any Colombian artists or collective working in any visual arts discipline.
