"Revisiones," Contemporary Art Works from the Colección MALI

Until August 31, 2017, the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI), will present the exhibition titled "Revisiones," which gather a series of contemporary works from the collections, created in the context of the tenth anniversary of the Comité de Adquisiciones de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC), whose members are entrusted with the diversification of the museum's collection. Curated by Sharon Lerner, the exhibition offers a critical reading on the colonial legacy imposed to the Peruvian culture, which is reflected on oral myths and traditions and consists of some installations and interventions by artists Carlos Mota, Pablo Hare, José Alejandro Restrepo, Losu Aramburu, Pablo Hare, and Alina Canziani.
