Artist Residencies. Casa Vecina-Espacio Cultural

The Casa Vecina-Espacio Cultural issues a call for emerging and experienced artists of all nationalities and ages who seek to participate in the residency program in Mexico City. Participants may submit projects in the following areas: visual arts; graphic art; photography; installation; video art; performance; public art; site-specific art, and sound experimentation. Applications must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the residency requested. Projects will be reviewed in the order in which they arrive. The artist selected will be granted a living as well as a working space, economic support toward research, and creative development. The residency will last no less than six weeks and no more than 3 months, and must take place at some point between May and September 2009. The artistic projects will be revised in the order in which they were submitted by the event coordinators.
