Through February 18th, 2013, Lugar a dudas is receiving applications for a RESÓ Network residence program, offering residence in one of the following institutions in Italy's Piedmont region: Cittadellarte, Parco d'Arte Vivente, Fondazione Spinola Banna, CeSac, and Eco e Narciso. The call is open to all artists based in Colombia, independent of their nationality.
RESÓ is a residence-exchange network for artistic and educational programs, and is located in Italy's Piedmont region. It is devoted to fostering new relationships, cultural exchanges, and creative production, as well as connections between artists and art-world institutions. This is RESÓ's first foray in Colombia.
All expenses will be covered, including airfare. Artists will be introduced into the local art scene through meetings, studio visits, and lectures. Selected artists are expected to make public presentations of their work at the end of the residence.
Interested candidates must send, along with their application, a PDF file containing basic contact information, CV, a personal letter explaining their motivation for the residence, and a statement.
In terms of their work, applicants can include up to 10 images (150 dpi), up to three published or unpublished texts, and even videos through a URL or through servers such as Yousendit, Dropbox, or WeTransfer.
Applications are received only in electronic format, via lugaradudas@lugaradudas.org. Please write RESIDENCIA RESÓ as the subject line.
