Curatorial Residency

The purpose of this call is to award a residency scholarship in the city of Rosario, Argentina to a Colombian curator. This residency is presented within the framework of activities organized at the Castagnino+Macro Museum and offers the winner the opportunity to develop a personal project, carry out studies on Argentine visual arts, establish relationships with professionals working in the field, generate production and distribution networks, as well as develop future international projects. The residency will last from September 15 until November 3, 2010. The winner will receive a scholarship purse of ten million Argentine pesos ($10,000,000.00). The call is open only to Colombian curators of legal age, who were born or who reside in Bogotá, with a formal education in the fine and visual arts, and a professional trajectory of no less than three (3) years. The call is also open to Colombian curators born or living in Bogotá who do not have a professional degree, but who have at least five (5) years of professional trajectory as curators. A panel of three experts in the field, appointed by the Castagnino+Macro Museum in Rosario, will select the winning proposal. The deadline to apply for this call is June 4, 2010.
