Story of a Negociation

The exhibition Story of a Negotiation by Francis Alÿs will be inaugurated on March 27. It is an inquiry into parallel performance and painting endeavors. With this exhibition the Belgian-Mexican artist Francis Alÿs articulates the parallel production of pictorial images and filmic actions at the beginning of the 21st century. Presented at the Museo Tamayo, the exhibition was curated by Cuauhtémoc Medina and it is specifically focused on three projects by Alÿs: Don't Cross the Bridge before You Get to the River (2008), Tornado (2000-2010) and Reel-Unreel (2011).
