Among the first museums to reopen in Miami is the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), which welcomes visitors since September 2. Admission continues to be free, but there are rules for attendance and limited hours within the institution.
Visitors who book in advance of their visit are recommended to arrive on time since tickets will be deactivated 30 minutes after the reserved time, and these are limited. Attendees are asked to leave backpacks and large bags at home because there is no place for their storage; masks are desired for everyone from the age of two, both indoors and outdoors in the sculpture garden. Visits will be limited to one hour. A distance of 6 feet must be maintained between visitors.
Among the shows until November 22: Artur Jafa; Vivian Caccuri and Damian Ortega (November 1); The GOAT retrospective dedicated to Tomás Esson can be visited until May 2, 2021. For more information, visit: https://icamiami.org/
De La Cruz Collection also reopens, limiting entry to 30 people, and advance registration is required. The use of masks is mandatory as well as keeping distance. Also, temperature will be measured before entering, and it is not permitted to touch, eat, or drink in the facilities. For more information, visit:
