The City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria invites to the PSJM-LPGC Workshop 2023. An open call that seeks to encourage and promote the training of people from different areas interested in learning and developing processes of creation, dissemination, and critical reflection within the framework of contemporary art, and teamwork.
The workshop will again have classroom classes and physical exhibitions in the rooms of the Pepe Dámaso Cultural Center. A selection of students with different backgrounds will be chosen to promote ethical-productive cooperation and, therefore, avoid competition.
It seeks to cover all the phases and tasks of cultural production from an environment of constant dialogue and search for consensus under the supervision of Cynthia Viera and Pablo San José, members of PSJM.
The program is aimed at art and design students, artists, curators, cultural managers, designers, architects, historians, sociologists, and professionals interested in the arts. The workshop will last one month, from September 11 to October 5. It will be held from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, from Monday to Thursday.
Registration must be made by sending an e-mail before noon on September 7, 2023, to modocultura@gmail.com.
