The Spain Cultural Center in Buenos Aires opens its call for artists wishing to develop artistic projects that integrate new technologies. The proposals may include installations, interventions, multimedia performance, or any other format that approaches issues associated with the development of new physical interfaces (tangible interfaces, augmented realities, and systems that allow visualizing, or representing through any other manner, virtual objects in physical space), connectivity (wireless devices associated with the Internet or that allow a telepresence), or the design of new behaviors for systems connected to robotics, artificial life, or artificial intelligence. The criteria for selecting the works will pay particular attention to pieces representing artistic proposals that rely on new technologies and adopt as their theme one of the Lines of Cooperation suggested by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). www.cceba.org.ar Open until April 12, the call is for Argentine artists or residents who work in various artistic and communication disciplines and who are interested in creating projects that combine art with new technologies. The purpose of this space is to support the artistic production of young artists already exploring this field and who require guidance for approaching the current issues that arise in their productions. From this perspective, the proposals address the coordination of the following spaces: Production Laboratory; Art and Technology Workshops; Classes on Digital Formats, and International Seminars.
