ADM-PIRA is an arts center dedicated to teaching, producing and disseminating visual arts, new media and contemporary design. It focuses on education and exchange between different disciplines, as well as on collaborating with creative artists from around the world. As part of the projects spearheaded by ADM, the International Artist Residency Program (PIRA) offers two residencies for the production, research and promotion of personal projects. The program is held twice a year in Mexico City, during the fall (October-December) and winter (December to February), for a period that lasts 4-8 weeks. Applicants must submit a PDF file no larger than 25 Megabytes along with the following documents: 1. Application Form 2. Proof of payment made through PayPal—www.centroadm.com/paypal—attached to the application 4. A letter or statement of purpose that explains the reasons and illustrates the objectives to be achieved during the residency (no longer than an A4 page). 5. At least 10 and no more than 20 images or explanations, if needed. 6. A maximum of 3 printed or digital from exhibition catalogs or other type of publications. 7. Links to websites videos or the candidate's work can be viewed (youtube or vimeo channels). The deadline for submitting all applications for the winter period (December-March) is extended to November 14. The results will be published two weeks after the close of the call.
