The well-known collector of Miami, Craig Robins, has established the residency program Art + Research, in order to turn Miami into an international art production center. The program will start in 2010, led by an international team of artists, curators and critics, among whom are Guadalupe Echevarria, director of the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux, and the British artist Liam Gillick, who oversee 25 artists. The program, in collaboration with the University of Miami, includes residency and has a duration of two years at almost no cost for the preparation of about 12 emerging artists.
