The Universidad de Belgrano announces its call for participation in the Universidad de Belgrano 2012 Awards for Artistic Creation in Painting and Photography.
The works selected will be exhibited from September 6 through September 17 of 2012, in the mezzanine of the Torre Universitaria, located at: Zabala 1837, P.B. Capital Federal. Argentina. The exhibition will be part of the events organized to celebrate the university's 48th anniversary.
Artists will participate in two categories:
a) UB Community (exclusively graduate and undergraduate students, teachers, and staff of the Universidad de Belgrano).
b) The General Public: Any person who is eighteen years old or older, and an independent Argentinean national.
Candidates must submit their proposals for either category, from August 1 through August 6, between the hours of 2 pm and 8 pm, to the following address: Auditorio Lacroze, Avenida Federico Lacroze 1947, First Floor.
The announcement of the winners and the award ceremony will be take place during the inauguration on Thursday, September 6. Only the winning works will be exhibited alongside other works selected by the jury.
The jury for the painting category is: Florencia Battit, Laura Feinsilber, and Julio Sapollnik. The jurors for the photography category are: Marlén de Vries, Marcelo Gurruchaga, and Martín Murcia.
