The Grand Jury announced the 100 most outstanding personalities of the Argentine Visual Arts last decade (2012-2021), made up of quintets in twenty disciplines.
These awards will be presented on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. The Grand Jury will choose from each of the 21 quintet winners the most significant trajectories to receive the Platinum Konex and the figure of the decade for the Brilliant Konex, the highest award granted by the Foundation, the latter to be awarded on November 8.
Konex Mercosur Award: Alfredo Jaar (Chile), Rosana Paulino (Brazil), and Ana Tiscornia (Uruguay).
Konex Honorary Konex Award: Joaquin Lavado (Quino).
Special Mention: Rubén Fontana and Liliana Porter.

The annual Konex Awards, this being its 43rd edition, directed by the president of the Konex Foundation, Dr. Luis Ovsejevich, the president of the Grand Jury of the Konex Awards 2022, Luis Felipe Noé and the General Secretary Matilde Marín (Platinum Konex Award 1992), was additionally formed by: Ana María Battistozzi, Florencia Battiti, Sergio Baur, Diego Bianchi, Diana Cabeza, Laura Casanovas, María Teresa Constantin, Marina De Caro, Hernán Dompé, Guillermo Fantoni, Andrea Giunta, Berto González Montaner, Miguel Harte, Juan Lo Bianco, Elena Oliveras, Emilio Rivoira, Graciela Taquini, and Juan Travnik. Following the established methodology, they chose the Konex Mercosur awards (outstanding personalities of the region); Konex of Honor (to a personality who died in the last decade); two Special Mentions (for career); and the 100 diplomas for Merit in the Argentine Visual Arts (2012-2021), selecting 5 for each of the 20 disciplines linked to the activity. In addition to this, the jury has decided to exceptionally create discipline No. 21, "Visual Arts Entities," to recognize institutions with outstanding work in the last decade.
