The Mayor's Office of Bogota and the Instituto Distrital de las Artes (IDARTES) invite national and international audiovisual creators, filmmakers, and/or artists working with new technologies, to submit proposals for the exhibition of five (5) audiovisual pieces in Fulldome format at the Planetarium of Bogota. The award will have a total value of fifty million Colombian Pesos (COL$50,000,000.00) divided into five stimulus of ten million Colombian pesos (COL$10,000,000.00) each. Proposals must be unpublished and developed around the theme "The End of the World," including themes associated with the end of civilization as we know it, the complete annihilation of mankind, the destruction of our planet, and even the end of the universe; along with any possible and numerous causes—real, prophetic, or imaginary—such as: the apocalypse and other prophesies, threats from outer space, super volcanoes, pandemics, human-caused events like nuclear disasters and climate change, among others. Candidates must submit their proposals in one (1) PDF document that contains the following items, titled and in the following order. (Considering that there are five items from A to E and all must be included in the content of the proposal). A. An information label that includes the title of the work, its author, duration, technique, and the year in which it was created. B. A synopsis that includes the conceptualization of the proposal (not exceeding one (1) letter-size page). C. A PDF file with the images of the main projects (duly identified) developed by the candidate, which showcase a trajectory of producing audiovisual material. D. A biographical summary (one paragraph not exceeding 250 words). E. A link to the homepage (password protected, if possible) containing the audiovisual proposal.
