The Holz gallery of the city of Buenos Aires, calls to participate in its national art contest 2008, which has a thematic the values and principles that frame life in society. The jury, formed by Alicia de Arteaga, Julio Sánchez and María Luisa Barril (gallery director), will select 20 works for exhibit in the gallery during the month of April. All artists under 35 years of age (with that age before March 31st, 2008) and over 18 can participate, Argentinean or with two or more years of residence in the country. Painting is the proposed mean for this contest, in any of its traditional variations or mixed techniques that include some of these variations. The works must be originals and works dated before 2007 will not be accepted. The call is open until March 14th, 2008.
