Artists from any nationality, working in any media, are invited to participate in the Young Masters Art Prize, for which they can register until April 30th, 2014.
Artists selected for participation will have their work exhibited in two London shows: one at Sphinx Fine Art and another at Lloyds Club, between September and December, 2014. Both exhibitions will feature works by the winner of last year's prize, Lottie Davies, participating as a guest artist. The jury will award three prizes: a General prize of £1,500 and two honorary awards of £500 each, donated by the Artist's Collecting Society. Winning artists will also be invited to participate in an international exhibition of their work as part of the Young Masters International Tour, in 2015.
This third edition of the Prize will also include the launching of the inaugural edition of the Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize, with £1,500 donated by James and Maylis Grand that will be awarded to an artist who demontrates his or her mastery of ceramics and their contribution to the development of the genre.
The Young Masters Art prize 2014 comes after a succesful year for tge Young Masters Tour 2013, which was presented at several venues throughout the United Kingdom, including Cork Street, Henley Festival, important art fairs in London, and, finally, Sphinx Fine Art Gallery in Notting Hill.
